Exhausted after yesterday's wood gathering work, sleep came easily and early. Dreams were vivid and intense. Too intense to describe with any precision in the waking world. Such dreams sometimes make me wonder if they actually are reality while time awake is not. At one point around 1:30 AM light, steady rain fell, quickly lulling me back to sleep where reality is at my command rather than commanding me. I dreamed of the Wolf Spider hole and its weather predicting value–completely plausible in dreams but a ludicrous notion while awake.
