Found a flowering plant I haven't noticed before. No idea yet what it is, but it's beautiful.
Also found another species of thistle with an almost pure white bloom.
The meadow looks especially bare without its usual rich blanket of blossoms, but monsoon rains continue falling most every afternoon and last night it rained a good amount. Maybe there will be a late-season blooming event before fall arrives and monsoon season ends.
