A green expansion to the water and power systems is underway to increase gathering and storage capacity of both. If all goes well, I'll rarely have to run a generator again to keep full supply of water in cisterns and energy in batteries, letting sun power handle all the workload.
Current systems have served well for fifteen years as they've both gradually been expanded. With luck, this expansion will last at least a decade until it's time for one final expansion before I'm too old to do much more work like this. Plenty of time for lots of solar and wind power technological advances to happen and get thoroughly proven in field applications.
