Sometimes after a long road trip, coming home can be a bit strange. Even though the road home has been driven, biked, jogged, walked countless times, it can suddenly feel foreign and new. Probably just an effect of sunlight angle and driving fatigue upon arrival, but it's always enjoyable when it happens. It makes me see home differently, possibly slightly phase shifted by a freakishly thick wave of dark matter passing through the area–revealing a level of reality never seen before in wavelengths I can detect.
Parallel universes and all that cool, statistically probable stuff.
