First time I spotted this little lizard was in late April when it was the size of a dime. Now it's a little larger than a quarter. It's been hanging around the south corner of the house in approximately the same ten square feet of space and aware of my presence this entire time. I know this because it scampers out of my path as soon as it senses my approach but has decided to stay where it is rather than move on to new territory even at risk of being stepped on. So far that tragedy has been avoided as we continue successfully sharing a bit of space. It is officially now House Horny Toad, and I hope to watch it grow into adulthood unharmed.
