Afternoon monsoon storms continue, bringing pleasantly cool temperatures just as the day is heating up. Low, dark, hulking clouds to the east as the sun sets is a pleasant visual contrast. Something about the sight of them stirs memories of Hurricane Celia's approach during my final month living in Louisiana. As Celia slammed into Corpus Christi, I was outside investigating new mud chimneys that appeared in our front yard as her clouds spun around.
