A favorite time of year has arrived, bringing serenity unavailable in the civilized world below.
Daytime temperatures have settled into mid seventies now as end of summer approaches, and local wildlife are busy feeding up on everything ripe to prepare for winter. Peace and quiet pervades these mild days.
Downslope where people are feeding up on everything political to prepare for another election cycle, anger and fear appears to be driving them all into a frenzy.
I suppose I should care more about the latter but can't seem to muster concern focused on any of that nonsense. It will all unfold into yet more frenzied nonsense just fine without me getting involved.
Instead, peaceful company of these quiet, happy creatures here suits me just fine.
