Twenty six hours of non-stop snow. Not a lot of accumulation but there were no high winds so the ground got to soak up most of the snow before it began to stick after sundown yesterday.
A crisp 18º F at sunrise and not a cloud or contrail in the sky. The batteries will get a good recharge today after giving up all they could during the storm. No wind this morning, so a lot of the snow that did stick will get to soak into the ground as the day gradually warms up to normal spring temperature, recharging the canyon aquifer.
The surrounding area will be under a fire weather watch starting at noon tomorrow.
