Safely Snowed In

~ Going Nowhere ~

The storm has passed. Not the heaviest snow I've seen here, leaving only a little more than two feet. May 2005 dumped three feet overnight and a storm in January 2016 left four feet of snow. This is enough, though, to keep me safe. Downslope, this season's strains of flu have proliferated to widespread proportions in this state and in Colorado. The pantry is thoroughly stocked to last well into spring, possibly even early summer. Having caught the flu too many times over the last half decade, I'll just stay put here in a safe zone until it plays out below.
